How Santa's desk works
- Personalize your letter. Complete the four workshop steps: Child, Personality, Christmas Magic, and Your Letter. Your answers fill in Santa's words on the free Classic North Pole letterhead, in your choice of four handwriting styles.
- Review and arrange delivery. Check your letter, choose any optional keepsake upgrades, and enter an email for delivery. The Classic letter stays free.
- Save your PDF. Download it from the confirmation page or open the emailed copy. Sign in free to save a copy in My keepsakes for later.
- Print it at home. Use your print-ready PDF. Print it at Actual size (100%) on US Letter, not “Fit to page”, and it's under the tree in minutes. No mailing deadline to miss, even on Christmas Eve.

Is the letter from Santa really free?
Yes. Stocking Stuffer, our free Classic letter, uses your answers to personalize Santa’s words on Classic North Pole stationery, with your choice of four handwriting styles. We email the print-ready PDF, and you can download it from the confirmation page. No account or payment is required. The optional North Pole Experience is $4.99 and adds the stationery collection, editable wording, a matching envelope, and an Official Nice List certificate.
Do I need an account to make a letter?
No. Enter an email address to receive your free Classic letter and download it from the confirmation page. Sign in with a free account to save it in My keepsakes for later. Paid purchases require an account.
What do I need to print it?
A home printer and US Letter paper (8.5 × 11 inches) for the letter. Print the PDF at Actual size (100%), with page scaling off. If you add the keepsake set, the certificate also uses US Letter paper and the envelope PDF needs a #10 envelope and an envelope-compatible printer.
Can Santa’s helpers write the letter for me?
Yes, with the optional $12.99 Santa’s Workshop pack. Share a few details about your child and Santa’s helpers write a personalized letter. The pack includes 25 letters and refinements. You can hand-edit the result without using another refinement. The free Classic letter personalizes ready-written wording from your answers.
Can I make a letter from Santa for more than one child?
Yes. Make a separate free Classic letter for each child. A North Pole Experience purchase covers every child in one household for the Christmas season of purchase, through January 31 after that Christmas. Santa’s Workshop includes the same household pass plus 25 letters and refinements per pack. Saved keepsakes remain available to reprint after the pass ends, until you delete them or your account.
